Brownsville Post Office HVAC Repair
Three of the five HVAC units at the Brownsville Main Post Office had quit, and one kept tripping its breaker every time it was reset. We responded the same day, found the failed equipment, replaced a bad compressor, and got the building's cooling back online before it became a problem for staff and mail operations.

The Challenge
A post office this size runs five ground-mounted HVAC units, and three were down at once. One of them tripped its breaker the moment it was reset, which points to a shorted compressor, not a simple reset. The call came in on a 12-hour response clock, and the building had to keep running through a South Texas day while we worked.
Our Solution
We checked in the same day and tested all five units to separate what had actually failed from what just needed service. The unit tripping the breaker had a failed compressor, so we replaced it and recharged the system. We brought the other two units back, then ran preventive maintenance across the whole set: cleared the coils, checked refrigerant, and confirmed each one held its load.
The Results
All five units were back in service and holding temperature. The compressor replacement stopped the breaker trips for good, and the maintenance pass left the rest of the system in better shape than it was before the call. The post office stayed open the whole time.
