Hamilton Post Office Water Heater & Plumbing Repair
The hot water to every sink at the Hamilton Main Post Office had been shut off for safety before we got there, leaving staff with no hot water at all. We repaired the plumbing and the water heater and brought hot water back to every sink in the building, up to code.
The Challenge
Someone had disconnected the hot water supply ahead of our visit because it was not safe to run as it was. That left the whole building without hot water, so we had to find why it had been shut down and fix it correctly, not just turn it back on and hope.
Our Solution
We traced the hot water system from the heater out to the fixtures, repaired the plumbing that had been taken offline, and got the water heater feeding the building again. We brought everything back in line with safety guidelines and checked each sink for proper hot water before we finished.
The Results
Every sink in the building had hot water again, supplied safely and to code. Staff got back a basic part of a working facility that had been down.
