McAllen Commercial Interior Painting
A 15,000 sq ft commercial interior painting project for a corporate office building in McAllen, TX — including drywall repair, surface preparation, primer, and two-coat finish across 40+ offices, conference rooms, hallways, and a reception area.
The Challenge
The building was fully occupied with 60+ employees who could not relocate during the project. Previous paint jobs had been done over damaged drywall, creating an uneven surface that showed through new paint. The client also needed a quick turnaround to coincide with a corporate rebranding.
Our Solution
We worked floor-by-floor during evening and weekend hours to avoid disrupting daily operations. Our crew repaired over 200 drywall imperfections (nail pops, cracks, tape joints) before applying a high-build primer to create a uniform surface. We used low-VOC commercial-grade paint (Sherwin-Williams ProMar 200) to minimize odors for office workers returning the next morning. The reception area received an accent wall with the client's new brand colors.
The Results
All 40+ rooms were completed in 10 days — 2 days ahead of the rebranding deadline. Zero employee complaints about paint odors or workspace disruption. The building owner was impressed enough to contract us for the exterior painting the following month.
